At least this way people can look at this post, see similarities with their issues and post their logs to lead the others with more expert knowledge in the right direction. You're implying to just sit and wait for a log to show up so I can report it. Can you tell me what other logs to look at ? I thoroughly checked /var/log/ already and nothing is helpful there.Ĭurrently, you are right, I cannot confirm if this is a KDE issue but thought to report it because that could be looked at and closed if the engineers are certain it doesn't affect KDE. The journal service stops, as I described above and that may be a cause. The old ones that could help with this issue are gone or never written.

I get these messages as I am looking for clues: I boot in the system afterwards with command line only to see whats going on. Plasmashell fails to start and sometimes I can just see the cursor moving and my wallpaper. This is not an immediate issue because I don't care about being in the latest kernel all the time but I thought to report it.
